Beautiful house, just not on the river.

Check in/out are super easy. This house was spacious & not a bad stay despite some overlooked maintenance issues. It is well stocked w/ almost everything but was lacking a knife. We need a lot of beds & bedrooms which this house provided. The bed linens were clean. There was even extras & bedding for the futon couches. The bed in the master had a couple rolling to the center of the bed due to a broken middle support. At least one of the bunk beds was missing the railing closest to the wall. Our kids are big enough to tuck a lot of pillows between the wall & bed. Having multiple full bathrooms is a BIG perk with a mix of adults & kids. The bathrooms were clean & well stocked. The AC at 72 is hot downstairs & cool upstairs. The deck is large & yard nice for kids but the deck needs work (nails & rot). Overall, the price was a bit steep for what we got but a good stay.I would like to mention that this is NOT on the water. I know that the listing doesn't specifically state that it is but there is no layout of the property in the listing & multiple homes on property. If you don't have a layout & you look at the listing photos, you will see one picture taken from the porch of the house closest to the water. I mentioned to the host that this was a bit misleading & was told that they use certain terminology for their riverfront homes. So unless you know their terminology, it isn't readily apparent that this is not riverfront. It's an easy walk but just not what was expected.

Would be nice to have some more comfortable couches and additional seating. There was plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group. It was very easy to check in and get into the house. And has quick access to the river.

Great place for families to stay! 20 min from Schlitterbahn and the Comal River.
